The MSR Outfitter Wing arrived — the largest catenary tarp available! I have a vision of pitching this right next to the sidecar, which will hold the generator, mobile router, post-it notes, stapler refills, etc.
I wanted to see how big it was, so Lydia and I headed over to the awesome American Helicopter Museum to set it up in the front yard. Because everything is better with big orange helicopters.
The tarp is indeed really really big (about sixteen feet by eighteen feet under shelter.) I think it will provide plenty of shade and room enough for a couple of folding desks. And the Futuristic Caternary Shape kept it from flapping. It’s really pretty awesome.
