Randy and I are sitting at an outdoor table at the Longwood Gardens Terrace Restaurant right now. We figured that would be a good first try for coworkout: we’re outside, but steps away from inside. There’s no wifi internet (we’re using EvDO), but there is power. So far, it’s really more like a Cream Cheese Session than anything else.
Things that I’m realizing need to go in the Coworkout Preparation Kit:
- A power tester to check outlets without having to unpack your laptop,
- A roll of paper towels and some windex (outdoor tables are not immediately laptop friendly),
- A WARMER JACKET. BRR. Ole Fanger was right, man.
Really enjoying ourselves so far, though. And I’m glad we are having a coworkout “test run” before the first day of spring.
UPDATE: We moved inside to the East conservatory, where there are wooden chairs, lush grass, a waterfall, breezez through the open windows, and the smell of orchids. It’s… it’s pretty damn nice. Here’s the view from our “office”, stitched together with Pano:
The next coworkout will be held the next time the Sandex cracks 90%. If you’d like to know where, follow @coworkout on Twitter!
