ABOUT LONGWOOD
Longwood Gardens is an amazing, stunning, colossal horticultural garden created by industrialist Pierre S. Dupont in the early 1900s. Nothing I can say about it will really do it justice; I’d suggest reading the Wikipedia article on Longwood, or visiting Longwood’s web site. It’s an incredibly beautiful spot, with formal gardens, informal gardens, fountain gardens, a full bell carillon, waterfalls… if you’ve never been, you owe it to yourself to come!
RELEVANT DETAILS
…in no particular order:
- ADMISSION: It costs sixteen bucks to get in. We don’t have a group rate or anything. Trust us, it’s worth it.
- FOOD AND COFFEE: There’s a cafeteria and restaurant on site. More about that here.
- INTERNET: We’ll be sharing an EvDO card via a bridge router. That means that your computer will think that it’s just using vanilla wifi, but it will be _slooow_ wifi. Please don’t do any Skype-ing, and come with low expectations for how snappy your pages will load.

SCHEDULE FOR 4/2/2010 COWORKOUT
Randy and I will arrive at Longwood at about 9:00, possibly more like 9:15 or 9:30. We’ll be buying admission separately. If you want to ride your motorcycle down with us, arrive at the Barcode Building at the northeast corner of High and Marshall streets in West Chester at 8:30 AM sharp. Otherwise, just meet us there! Once you’re inside the gardens, check @coworkout to see where we’ve ended up.
